The YouTube Power Hour Podcast

We’ve been getting a lot of requests for this one! And this week’s guest definitely delivered, because this is part one of a two-part conversation. We had such a good time and went so in-depth, I wasn’t even focused on the time. YouTuber Natalia Taylor gives us the tea on her entire YouTube career and the secret to building a fiercely loyal audience, how to make a YouTube comeback and double your subscribers in the process, and so much more!

“I’m constantly growing and changing, and that also applies to my perspective on situations in the past.”

Natalia has been on YouTube for almost 5 years now. In that time she’s shared deeply personal stories and pop culture with her audience in very entertaining and authentic ways. When she started she was studying to become a doctor but dropped out of college to pursue modeling. She wanted to use YouTube as an outlet and personal diary to talk about her behind-the-scenes experiences being a model. She saw success fast, one of her first 5 videos she posted went viral and put her on the map. But the story she told about getting kidnapped when she was 7 years old, made her career and was the catalyst that shot her channel up to 700k subscribers!

At almost the height of her career, when she had 730k subscribers, she disappeared. And it was going to be permanent. She quit YouTube, went back to a regular job and a simpler life which she enjoyed. But something was pulling her back, and with the encouragement of her friends and family, after a year had gone by, she came back and took her channel in a new direction. It was tough reviving her channel and she lost a ton of subscribers, but she came back in fine style and now has almost 1.8 million subscribers! In this episode, Natalia talks about her early viral hits and how they affected her and her YouTube career, how she got selected to be a member of the Tana Mongeau collaboration channel, Trash, and her experience going through that, why she left YouTube and how she made her comeback and doubled her subscribers, and more. Enjoy!

We’ve seen a lot of diversity on this podcast. I love talking to successful YouTubers because there are just so many ways to build successful and profitable channels. This season we’ve seen someone take up to 2 days to film 1 video, this week we’re finding out what it looks like on the other end of the spectrum. Mom, YouTuber and CEO Cassandra aka ClutterBug shares how she raises 3 kids, plus runs a successful channel of over 400k subscribers and makes $300k a year in all her businesses while doing everything in her power to not make anything feel like work!

“Be consistent. Because if you love talking about something, the opportunities will come.”

Cassandra’s overnight success was 11 years in the making. She started on YouTube in 2008. Monetizing was the furthest thing from her mind, she was just excited to share her organizing videos. But over the next 4 years, her channel hit 100k subscribers and she flipped the AdSense switch and money started coming in. So much money that she closed down her home daycare business she started to earn an income as a stay home mom. On the high on being able to do what she loved and get paid for it at the same time, her channel was unfortunately abruptly shut down. All that income and the earning power she built up in her videos for 4 years vanished overnight.

“I treat my channel like a business, but I’m loving it like a hobby.”

In the moment it was devastating to start over from scratch, but eventually, she’d see that it was the best thing to ever happen to her because it allowed her to build her brand Clutterbug. She was able to work smarter, and in 2 years she was back to earning what she was before, long before hitting the 100k subscriber mark again.

Now she’s able to be fully present with her family after school and work when she feels driven and motivated. It’s not about the money for her, but for the fun and growth that she derives from what she does, even if that means leaving money on the table. In this episode, she shares all her income streams and how she has built them up to generate over 300k a year for her with zero employees, how she’s able to monetize her channel with doing sponsored videos or brand deals, how her first book deal came together and how she gets all her books to hit the bestseller lists in an organic way, her strategy for YouTube growth without being yucky, clickbaity or feeling like work, how she built an accredited and affordable certification program for organizers and so much more. Enjoy!

“I offer really good free content so people think, wow, this free thing is actually good, the paid thing must be even better!”

What does it take to maintain a YouTube empire with 650k subscribers? For one, a whole lot of passion, and fashion, beauty and lifestyle YouTuber Belinda Selene has that in abundance. She also has a ton of other secrets to her success that she’s sharing on this episode. She’s breaking down how she built her empire and the entire process that helps her pump out hit after YouTube hit. If you’re ready to grow, tune in!

“If you want to do it, you’ll find a way, and unless you do it you’ll never know what it can be.”

When Belinda started on YouTube 7 years ago, it was her creative outlet. She was working 2 jobs and wanted a fun community where she can express her creative side. Over a few years of following her passion, she grew her channel up to 100k subscribers. At that point, she was working at a bank. She loved it and saw herself growing there, but a great opportunity came her way to work with a huge brand, Maybelline, and to travel to promote one of their products for 6 months. She had to make a decision, choose comfort and safety and let the opportunity slip away, or dive into the unknown and the unstable paycheck. With the encouragement of her husband to follow her dream, she made the leap. She became a full-time YouTuber 5 years ago on her honeymoon when she had 100k subscribers, now she has 640k subscribers!

“It’s worth knowing what’s trending, but don’t copy what someone else is doing because then what is unique about you?”

What strikes me about Belinda is that she’s so disciplined and passionate about her work. She plans everything and ensures that she has consistent success and growth on YouTube. Some of her videos take 7 hours to film… 7 hours! In this week’s episode, Belinda and I talk about her journey to 640k subscribers, we break down her insane work ethic and her production process, and how she picks topics and makes hits. Enjoy!

“Me being scared when I jumped into YouTube full-time didn’t allow me to fail because I was going to MAKE SURE I made the right decision.”

Want to learn about massively growing your YouTube beauty channel? Let’s move from working with brands to being a brand, with beauty and makeup YouTuber Lisa J on today’s episode! She went from casual hobbyist to successful Youtuber with 147k subscribers to socially conscious business maven, and you have a front-row seat to all the scoop.

“I really feel like if you put out content you’re passionate about and proud of, the numbers and the money WILL follow.” - Lisa J Makeup

Lisa started YouTube when she was 8 months pregnant with her second daughter 5 years ago; she was a makeup artist, had been for 12 years now, but she was now at home and was looking for something to stretch her creative muscles. So she started making videos as a hobby. 3 years in, she now had 2 daughters, was back at work and had no more room for YouTube in her hectic life, so she took a few months off. But during that time she kept getting caring messages from her subscribers. That encouraged her to make a comeback and show up consistently, and she grew steadily as a result. A year later she launched a video that was a hit! It blew up her subscriber numbers from 60k to 140k! What a jump!

“I want a community that enjoys my personality. I’m not trying to be something not authentic just to gain a lot of subscribers really fast.” - Lisa J Makeup

Lisa’s audience is made up of women of all ages, but she gets a lot of engagement from ladies in their 40s and older. She helps them be empowered to experiment and create their own makeup looks by teaching them the basics and the makeup and beauty concepts. Now she also has a beauty product line of brushes and makeup, and you’re going to hear the story of her journey on this episode, how to identify and narrow down what makes you special, how she created and built her beauty makeup brand from the ground up, and so much more. Enjoy!

“Adsense is great. Working with brands is great. But having something of your own is even better.” - Erika Vieira

The YouTube landscape has changed so much over the years! Now successful YouTubers are earning 70-90% of their revenue from brand deals and creators are becoming businesses in order to keep up and make a profitable living. So how do you capitalize on the changing landscape and create content that attracts both subscribers and brands? YouTuber India Baston is on the show today and she’ll be sharing her journey getting to the top of her niche and all the ins and outs of working with brands!

“I’d feel much better getting 5000 views on a video I was passionate about than a million views because I copied other people.”

India Batson is a 24-year-old beauty and lifestyle content creator based in Atlanta, Georgia. She started her channel 4 years ago when she was in college, she was focused more on makeup and playing a persona she thought people wanted to see, curling her hair and wearing dresses, but that didn’t feel right. She continued to post videos on and off until her senior year in 2017 when she decided to take her channel seriously and started posting videos consistently every week. She found her niche of creating hair content and she slowly grinded her way till she was working as a YouTuber full-time. No viral hit, no crossroads moment, just showing up consistently and being the goto channel in her niche for men and women with curly hair.

“My audience is similar to me and if I'm interested in something, most likely they are as well.”

She’s now grown to over 250k subscribers and her channel has over 17 million video views! She’s had opportunities to collaborate with major brand deals like Sephora, Gillette, Dove, and Aussie. Aside from her YouTube, she is also a rising actress in appearances in Netflix/NBC’s Good Girls and Netflix’s insatiable! In this episode, India talks about her process for making videos, advice on how to work with brands and understanding your value, how she found a management team to help her navigate all the brand deals that are coming her way and how you can too, and so much more. Enjoy!

“If I could start over, I would start from the beginning being myself as that’s all you can ever be.”

Fasten your seatbelts, the YouTube Power Hour Podcast is back and better than ever! We’re kicking things off by giving you the step-by-step, behind-the-scenes of a viral video hit and breaking it all down for you. Fitness YouTuber Keltie O’Connor is our guest with the most today and I don’t think you’re ready for what she’s about to share. Let the rollercoaster ride begin!

“You should have a purpose behind youtube and your channel, but your content can change with the trends.”

Keltie found her love for video when a very progressive teacher in high school saw her struggling to write essays and suggested she do them in video instead. That love blossomed and followed her into university where she spent the next few years learning YouTube and honing her perspective as a fitness YouTuber. But in August 2018 she realized she was burnt out. She didn’t like the superficial content she was creating and she needed a break. So she decided to take her first vacation in 3 years and spend a week in Toronto. After that week she felt the pull. She packed her things and decided to move to Toronto from Edmonton and go all-in on YouTube. She spent her life savings, worked day and night, bartended on weekends to pay the bills and buy equipment and fund her to go to fitness networking events. By the start of 2019, her growth skyrocketed - she tells the story of the first time a video of hers went majorly viral and it’s a roller coaster ride you have to hear for yourself!

“The only way you’ll learn what does well is by doing it, and no one is watching when you start so take it as a blessing.”

Immediately after the high of success, she was thrown into the depths: dealing with creative burnout, overwork, second-guessing her message to her newfound audience and barely sleeping. 6 months of building her life around YouTube turned into one year. But she was driven by a light she felt was at the end of the tunnel, that if she could continue to sustain the pressure, it would all be worth it. And in March 2018, it all happened. She finally hit 100k subscribers and she was able to cut her bartending jobs and finally focus on YouTube full time! You’re going to hear the full story, all the ups and downs and highs and lows from starting, her viral hits, and misses and the journey that led her to this moment. Enjoy!

“Every time you’re making videos it’s so tedious but the second you press publish, you get that high and the video is out, and then you chase it again.”

What do you represent? One of the most difficult aspects of establishing yourself as an influencer is finding that thing that makes you unique and leveraging your ‘superpower’ to stand out in a crowded field of YouTubers. The platform has evolved into a lucrative business, and that means your channel is its own brand. And when your personality matches up with a beauty brand, collaborations follow. Today’s guest is a YouTube veteran with a unique brand identity who is ready to share how her individuality as an influencer has led to some awesome opportunities.

Stephanie Ledda is a 26-year-old New York native with a passion for beauty and a unique eye for fashion. Her channel, SMLx0, has over 900,000 subscribers who look to Stephanie for inspiring hair, makeup and styling tutorials. She was a college student when she started her channel in 2009. A business management and marketing major, Stephanie enjoyed watching YouTube videos and decided to try it out herself. Using the webcam on her MacBook to make videos in her dorm room, she created celebrity-inspired looks and gained a modest following.

Stephanie considered YouTube a fun hobby, but she didn’t realize its potential to become a career until StyleHaul and the YouTube Partner Program reached out to her in 2011. After graduating from college, she tried to balance a traditional job in marketing at a bridal boutique with her channel, but quickly recognized that she couldn’t do both – and she really missed YouTube! Certain she could support herself through the channel, Stephanie quit her marketing job to pursue YouTube full-time. She definitely made the right decision, considering that she’s partnered with major brands like Schwarzkopf, Maybelline, Sephora, Ulta Beauty, and Tarte. Today she chats about sharing your personal life with your followers, the value of a degree, and how she chooses brands for sponsored videos.

What would you do if your lucky stars aligned and you won a free stay at a brand new fully-furnished apartment for an entire year, with free utilities, groceries, and monthly gift cards to boot? Well, you might think this is just wishful thinking, but sometimes wishes do come true! For 21-year-old Lindsay Marie, who was just fresh out of college, winning a contest and getting this dream-come-true opportunity was exactly what she needed in order to pursue her dreams and focus on her YouTube channel.

“I feel like there’s enough success to go around but a lot of people feel like they have to compete.”

In a stroke of more good luck, shortly before winning the contest Lindsay Marie’s Bethany Mota haul video caught the attention of Bethany Mota herself. This one video alone got her about 30,000 subscribers in just three days within just a month of starting her YouTube channel. Now, three years later, Lindsay Marie has currently over 300K subscribers and 14.6 million video views.

“I always have to remind myself when I see someone doing really well that it’s their turn. They deserve that. I should be happy for them and I know that my time will come eventually.”

However, everyone knows it takes more than just luck to have a successful YouTube channel. And anyone who has a YouTube channel knows that sometimes content creators do find themselves running out of video topic ideas.

So, how does one rise to the situation and break out of that slump? Stay tuned and find out how to research video topic ideas like Lindsay Marie to get your creative juices pumping.

If you could work on YouTube full time, would you take that leap of faith? Our guest, Amanda Lee, went with her gut and decided to do just that!

"It's kind of nice when what other people enjoy, and what you enjoy, lines up."

19-year old Amanda first started her YouTube channel when she was only 15 years old. She attended an art program in high school and, although art is definitely her number one passion, YouTube became a place for her to get away from art when it felt too suffocating. She started doing DIY and fashion and beauty videos and had about 60k subscribers when she graduated high school in August 2016.

As an artist, Amanda felt like she could do a lot more on her channel. So, she decided to take a year off from school and do YouTube full time. She then made the conscious decision to rebrand her channel and strategize her content. By January 2017, she hit 100k subscribers. And when she transitioned into art and started her bullet journals, they became so popular that she has now gained more than 400k subscribers and 17 million views.

"Find your groove, and once you do, it's enjoyable on both ends of the spectrum."

Amanda first started her channel to get away from art but now it's what her channel is known for. She has definitely come full circle and you can too! If you have something you love and that you're truly passionate about, you might want to take that leap of faith and do YouTube full time!

While some YouTube videos go viral and catapult their creators to instant popularity, it takes more than a viral video to call yourself a success. So, what does it really take to succeed on YouTube? With a plethora of videos coming from YouTube content creators all over the world, how can you gain audience loyalty and support?

“At the end of the day, it’s the people that enjoy your videos that you’re making them for.”

Find out the answers to these questions from 23-year-old beauty expert, Alexandra, as she shares her YouTube journey and tips for how to succeed on YouTube. She started her YouTube career right out of high school at age 18, and her channel, AlexandrasGirlyTalk, has been a tribute to her younger, more awkward self who had a budding curiosity for all things girly.

“There’s so much negativity that can happen by being on YouTube, but there’s also a lot of good.”

She used to get made fun of for being and looking different so, she started experimenting with her looks. This led her to realize that she’s not the only girl who wants to know how to take care of her looks and how to take control of her beauty so, she started making videos. Now, Alexandra currently has 1.9 million subscribers and 222 million video views.

“If you really believe in what you’re saying, you definitely want people to see what you have to say.”

How has Alexandra managed to succeed on YouTube?

Well, Alexandra says that first, you need to figure out what makes you unique. You have something valuable about you that you can share with people. Once you’ve found a way to communicate that in your videos, you’ll have taken the first step on the path to success.

“It becomes a monster of a thing that’s so beautiful but also so ugly when you don’t stay true to what you want.”

How important is it for an influencer to have a support system? Wouldn’t it be great if you were a part of an influencer community that empowers you as you pursue your passion and turn it into a business? Let’s find out in today’s episode as we explore the power of an influencer community with Style Collective’s Annie Spano.

“We’re just trying to make a difference in the world through our craft and our passion.”

Style Collective is an influencer community for women to connect, grow, and learn how to be successful bloggers and entrepreneurs. Prior to starting Style Collective, Annie had been in a toxic work situation in her corporate job after she had graduated from her MBA and realized she needed to get out. She felt the need to be around other people that were positive and inspiring. She also needed to be where she could be a leader and empower women.

She started her blog in October 2015 and did some consulting through it for a local boutique. She began to know other fashion bloggers that were starting at the same time and she connected with these women on a deeper level. She became best friends with some of them and she started a Facebook group for all of them to connect with each other, to share tips and ideas with each other, and encourage each other. Through that, Annie saw the power of an influencer community.

Now, Annie connects women from all over the world through community and empowers them to do what they love through leadership and influencer education. Annie is the host of the Becoming Fearless Podcast, blogs at anniespano.com, and is a public speaker.

“My tribe is influencers because they’re the same as me.”

Do you wish you were making money as an influencer? If so, how can you turn your passion project or hobby into a full-time career? What are the odds of making money as an influencer? How can you become successful at it?

I am so excited for today’s episode because not only will we unlock the answers to these questions, but we’ll also talk about mindfulness, meditation, and positivity with our guest, Jessica Nazarali.

Jessica knew from an early age that personal development would be part of her life’s work. However, it wasn’t until she started a passion project – a blog and health food store in 2011 - that Jessica’s dream came to fruition.

“At the end of the day you just really need to believe in yourself and what you’re doing.”

After hitting it big with $7,000 in revenue during her 7th month of blog coaching and consulting, Jessica quit her job and went full time in her business. During the first year, she did a lot of one-on-one coaching, one-on-one consulting, and then she started creating products. Now, she has a flagship program, Business Mastery, that’s all about business building skills including how to sign consistent clients for coaches, consultants, and service-based entrepreneurs. She also has a coaching certification program, Coaching Mastery, and a personal development and mindset-based program, Personal Mastery.

“Content is so important and it’s how you stand out.”

Today, Jessica has managed to successfully combine her business with her desire to help people. Her It Girl Academy and It Girl Radio podcast provide guidance and coaching to women from different walks of life, all over the world.

“It’s really important that you stay motivated and you stay inspired, so you keep on going and you don’t give up.”

"Don't try to be something you think people want."

YouTube is filled with bubbly and outgoing personalities who have become YouTube stars in their own right. However, having a YouTube channel is not exclusively for extroverts. If you have passion and knowledge to share, then what you actually have is the magic formula to become popular on YouTube!

One such popular YouTube influencer is Silvia Reis, who goes by the name ellebangs in her YouTube channel. She's a popular hair guru and a Redken trained hairstylist living in San Francisco who shares professional DIY tips about hair color, cut, and styling to help people get their dream hair while saving some money at the salon.

"Consistency gets people attracted."

Shy and reserved, Silvia's personality doesn't quite fit the mold of a typical YouTube influencer. However, because she's passionate about sharing her knowledge about hair, she started her channel with her husband about four years ago to teach people some of the things she learned herself going through cosmetology school and working at various salons in the Bay Area. She loves everything hair and makeup and thought YouTube would be a good way to engage with other like-minded people. Currently, Silvia has almost half a million YouTube subscribers and 49 million video views.

"The audience I have, I want it to be super genuine."

So, remember, you don't have to reinvent yourself in front of the camera and suddenly become super bubbly and super outgoing to become popular on YouTube. Stay true to yourself and people will embrace you for who you are!

"Don't try to be something you think people want."

Are you ready to take YouTube seriously and make that transition from your current job to being a full-time YouTube content creator? It’s not an easy decision to make, and achieving success on YouTube is certainly no easy feat. However, for fitness influencer, Amanda Bucci, making that transition was empowering!

"I wanted people to take some piece of value out of it at the end of the day."

Amanda Bucci made that transition and began having the time of her life! She was absolutely loving what she did, helping people with fitness through her videos that she was uploading at least five times per week! With her bikini competition series called “That Prep Life,” her YouTube channel subscribers went from 6k to 100k in only 6 months.

"Getting noticed comes from doing videos that potentially could go viral."

Growing up in Rhode Island, Amanda had no idea having a YouTube channel, and being a YouTuber, was even a thing. When she did finally get started on YouTube, it was by sharing her fitness journey, educating her audience, and gaining fast exposure in the fitness industry.

"I like to make sure I get a good mix of informational versus vlog videos."

Amanda has now branched out to start her own podcast and showing others how to grow their own personal brands. She is passionate about fitness, business, and self-development and wants to help ignite the fire of millions by sharing her knowledge and leading by example.

"YouTube is obviously an amazing vehicle to get clients, to get business."

Just like Kimbyrleigha, a successful YouTube channel can afford you numerous opportunities that will eventually lead you to financial success.

"I would not venture off into things that I wasn't passionate about."

When Kimbyrleigha started her YouTube channel back in 2015, she was not only juggling a corporate job but also raising a 3-year-old daughter as a single mom. Even with all of that, she had no intention of making it as just a hobby. Kimbyrleigha wanted to make being a YouTube creator her new career.

Through her boyfriend, Kimbyrleigha learned about affiliate marketing and began researching it. Now, she's affiliated with about 100 companies and approximately 80% of her income is from affiliates.

"You probably need to get on trends because those things are going to catapult you."

Kimbyrleigha always wanted to be an entrepreneur and she has been afforded that opportunity m among others, through doing YouTube. However, according to Kimbyrleigha, the opportunity to become a voice that people listen to has been the greatest opportunity so far. If you're earning money on top of doing that and doing what you love, what more could you ask for?!

"You have to be really thankful if you even have the bravery to do YouTube."

As a single mom to a one-year-old daughter, she struggled to find a job despite having graduated from law school, until she eventually landed one in corporate America where she busted her butt every day for three years.

“If you show up for YouTube, YouTube will show up for you.”

If you're considering getting in on the YouTube action, you're probably wondering how to start a good YouTube channel, right? Building your YouTube channel to a highly successful level takes a considerable amount of time and effort so you want to make sure you get started off on the right foot.

Luckily, my guest today can help provide some great tips for how to start a good YouTube channel! Shan Boodram started off her adult life by going the traditional route and earning a degree in Journalism. She then wrote the book, Laid: Young Peoples Experiences with Sex in An Easy-Access Culture. However, when she found herself in a "massively toxic" relationship, she decided to leave Toronto and pursue a career in Los Angeles.

Shan had used YouTube to promote her book and had built her channel to around 20,000 subscribers so, after her fourth failed pilot (for MTV, no less), she decided to become a Certified Sexologist and take her YouTube channel more seriously. Within six months, she grew her subscriber count to over 100,000! Don't worry, she shares exactly how she did it in today's episode.

Shan also shares exactly how to start a good YouTube channel, what elements of the process are the most important, the equipment she absolutely loves, her issues finding the right agent, and the incredible opportunities that have resulted in having a dominant presence in a relatively small YouTube niche ... including her own multi-season web series with Full Screen!

If you’ve been on the sidelines, hesitating about starting your channel or taking your channel seriously, this is the episode you have been waiting for! Even if you’ve been growing your channel for years, you’re gonna want to listen to this episode with a notebook beside you because everyone is going to learn a TON to help them explode their channels. I don’t think you’re ready. Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker and YouTuber Evan Carmichael is here and we get really deep and focused only on super fast and massive growth with tactics that are 2019 ready. Let’s go!

“80% of YouTube success is making daily content that is fire.”

Evan is a YouTuber who talks all things entrepreneurship and business on his channel. He has over 6,000 videos - yes, my word, six thousand - and has over 2 million subscribers. What I liked most about Evan was his openness to share as much as he knew and hold nothing back. You know there are some weirdos who put themselves on a pedestal and hoard all their secrets. Evan is the opposite, as you’ll hear in this episode. He has published 4 books, and he is a globally in-demand speaker, an entrepreneur, former Venture Capitalist and a lot more.

“If you keep leaning into the things that are fun for you, you will find your inner genius.”

We were on a tight timeline so we dove right in. We didn’t spend any time on his story, just went deep into the tactics and strategies around rapid channel growth. This episode is short but packed with value. Trust me, you will be taking notes on every sentence. Enjoy!

“By continued experimentation, you’ll find your style.”

I’m in love with this brand and this entrepreneur’s story and you’re about to be too! If you’re thinking of starting something to have a massive reach and impact, you’re going to want to take notes because we have Karissa Bodnar, owner of Thrive Causemetics giving away all the inside scoop into how she grew her business from zero to what it is today. She seriously held nothing back and we go into everything!

“I believe that when we are confident, we are unstoppable.”

Karissa and Thrive Causemetics has received accolades like the “Fastest-growing vegan beauty company”, “Forbes 30 under 30 for 2019” and INC magazine’s “Badass Female Founders”, but before all that Karissa grew up on a farm in Washington State. She loved creating makeup from roses from her mom's garden and crayons. Since then she has been deep into all things makeup: working as a makeup artist at Sephora during college, working at Clarisonic after college and in L'oreal’s luxury division after they acquired Clarisonic. But when she hit a brick wall after losing her friend to cancer at 24, she came to the realization that she had to stop waiting and finally build the beauty company of her dreams. She was passionate about doing more than just selling beauty products but empowering women as well. And a month later she started Thrive Causemetics on her kitchen counter.

“If our product wasn’t great, people would not buy it.”

She funded it all herself, making product formulas on her kitchen counter and fulfilling all the orders out of her 1-bedroom apartment. As she grew, she reached out to people for help, and along the way she captured the hearts of her amazing customers and their word of mouth on social media moved the needle for her. She went from making a thousand dollars a day in sales to hundreds of thousands of dollars a day in sales, in just a few days, and kept growing from there. A part of why it’s called ‘causemetics’ is because she donates her profits to a lot of charities who help women re-enter the workforce, deal with abuse, recover from cancer and even more - they keep adding more and more women groups in need. You’re going to learn in-depth the different stages of her journey and how she was able to get through each stage to where her company is today. Enjoy!

“When you realize that the worst that can happen really isn’t that bad, you’re unstoppable.”

She lived with her husband and children in Hawaii for 10 years before moving to the mainland in 2013. Now she’s doing YouTube full time with her family and homeschooling all 6 of them! In this episode, we talk about how she structures her days to get it all done, how they use analytics and trends to hone in on the demographics for their 5 channels, the videos that triggered the most growth for them and so much more!

Grab your seat because we’re spilling the tea on what it takes to work with a brand… from a brand’s point of view! You’re not going to want to miss this, Christina Zilber of Jouer Cosmetics is giving you the behind-the-scenes of building her business and exactly what she looks for when working with influencers. This is your secret weapon ladies!

“You have to know what you don’t know. If you think you know everything, you’re wrong.”

Christina started her love affair with makeup as a model at 20 years old. She loved being in the makeup trailer around all the fun and excitement and seeing the power of makeup to truly transform. It didn’t matter if you have dark circles or blemishes of any kind, makeup was there to wipe it all away. She grew up, left modeling and started producing, got married and had kids, but she never stopped being a makeup junkie. Around the time makeup palettes started coming out, she had an idea about having a built-it-yourself palette, where you can only have the colors that match you, instead of a bunch of colors you’ll never want. She met with a consultant who loved her idea and with that help and confidence Jouer was launched in 2008!

“I don’t want to be slide 6 of 15 of the concealers you need now article. That won’t sell my product.”

She has sold her products on HSN, QVC, gotten into magazines and boutique stores, but influencer marketing is what’s really blasted her business into the stratosphere. When she started working with influencers, she was able to double her business in a year! No wonder she’s all in on it now. In this episode she dives deep into how she thinks about influencers and who are the types of people she goes after, how the current PR package list saturation and audience burnout is forcing her to adapt her approach for finding new influencers, how to stand out to a brand and not be a drop in the sea of pitches brands receive, and so much more!

“You need to always follow your gut. You can’t just follow what's out there already, you have to innovate.”

If you’ve ever searched for the secret to your YouTube success, here's some advice. It takes a drive to succeed like never before to make it on YouTube, and our guest today has it in spades. Beauty YouTuber C Key brings her electrifying and magnetic personality onto the show and shares with us her journey to 130k subscribers and everything she’s learned and overcome along the way!

“Be yourself because you don’t have to try to maintain that, it comes naturally.”

C Key has been a YouTuber since 2012, but actually, before she started doing makeup videos, she thought the whole thing was gross. It wasn’t until her friend did her makeup for a banquet that she got bitten by the bug. She loved how she could take her already confident and beautiful self and quickly level up a ton with makeup. And when that friend wasn’t available to do her makeup again, she took to YouTube to learn it all herself. That curiosity turned into a passion and that passion drove her to give back to the beauty community by starting her own channel and giving her pros and cons on the products being released today. Now she has almost 130k subscribers, she calls her tribe “supporters”, she runs a jewelry business and is on her way to doing her own thing full-time.

“Don’t focus on the numbers. If you’ve got what it takes, your confidence will attract everyone.”

C Key loves doing videos with her family. She says out of all the awesome tutorials and reviews she’s done, it's the ones where she can create content with them that are the most impactful to her. She has two daughters, one 23 and one 18 and she wholeheartedly believes that you’re worth whatever it is you set your heart on. That’s what drove her to open her P.O. Box and start tagging and pitching brands only 3 months after she launched her channel - if other YouTubers can get brand deals, so can she, so why not go for it? We’ll dive into these and other personality traits that make her so energetic and successful on YouTube in this episode. Jump in!

“I believe that if you put some faith behind what you want, things will begin to move.”

Is your YouTube channel getting you down? Maybe it’s not growing as fast as you expected it to and you’re feeling frustrated with the content grind. I’m here to help! In this solo episode, I take you through 9 powerful things you can do to blast beyond the frustration, get back on track and go after the results that you want. If you’ve been having a tough time and you almost feel like giving up, I made this for you.

“Your close-knit community serves as a little army against negativity.”

Comparisonitis, fear of missing out (FOMO), burnout, guilt, trolls in your comments section, negative validation and imposter syndrome are all issues we have to come across as people in the YouTube space. And it can be hard to deal with. We want to show up for our audience but with that comes so much baggage: when we show up, how did we perform compared to other people in our industry? We want to be up on every trend so we aren’t left behind, but rushing and posting non-stop is leaving us burnt out. And when we do post, the negative comments that come in always tear us down, even when they’re in a stream of positive comments. And finally, who are you to be making videos about this topic? What are your qualifications? We’re putting those fears and feelings to rest with these 9 steps in today's episode.

“Ultimately, most people want to make a change and have a positive impact.”

If you loved this episode and you’re looking for a way to implement all the 9 steps and have a proven plan to build your YouTube channel, then you’d be a good candidate for my Zero-to-Influence Bootcamp. If you want to know what it’s like and what it’s all about, I’m doing a free masterclass on May 30th where I’m walking you through the 5 things you should avoid doing so your YouTube channel can grow, and I’m giving you the exact strategies in my Zero-to-Influence Framework. I’ve spent months creating this training and it’s finally time to share it with you! See you there!

“When you’re focusing on your strengths then you know you’re presenting the best of yourself.”

Do you get secretly frustrated or exasperated when a competitor or friend gets better results than you? If they’re getting more views while you’re struggling to grow, it can feel like the worst. Here's the good news: it happens to all of us! But you won’t show up as the best version of yourself when you’re comparing your self-worth, value and your work with others. On this solo episode, I’m talking all about how to break the pattern and free yourself from comparisonitis! Let’s do this!

“If you make decisions based on what someone else is doing, it will take you down the road of distraction from you being the best version of yourself."

Comparisonitis happens to all of us, it happens to me and it happens to my clients too. I get a bit jealous when I see people who've started their podcasts long after I did, popping up on Forbes lists and I see them - by my own perception - doing much better than me. A Client of mine I was working with for a little while finally hit the 20k subscribers mark. She was so happy and celebrating but totally went flat when she found out that her friend, who she encouraged to start her channel, blew passed her and got to 35k subscribers. Why do we do this? We have our own audiences, they have theirs, we’re measuring something that isn’t equal, yet it still hurts so much.

“Unfollow and unsubscribe from anyone who brings out jealousy or comparisonitis out of you.”

So how do you fight this? How do you navigate the shark-infested waters of comparing yourself to others on Instagram and YouTube? Well, it won’t be easy but you can do it, and I talk about how in this episode. Like everything, it starts with being aware of the negative behavior and where it shows up. At the end of the day, you don’t want to be in a bubble, avoiding every video to stop yourself from comparing. I know you want to take in inspiration and not allow the negative influences or your comparisonitis to act up. So, let’s talk about how you get more aware of your comparisonitis and create a catalyst for you to shift it for good.

“Use your why as a filter. If what you want to do makes sense to why you’re doing it then do that video. If not, then no one will want to watch that.”

Time to get really personal and vulnerable ladies... it’s storytime! I’m sharing my entire journey with you, my ups and downs, how I fell in love with YouTube and talking to you about it every week, what I’ve learned from my failures and why I do this podcast for you! I hope you’re ready for this honest and open conversation.

“I started thinking: if I'm going to continue with this podcast, I need to help more people.”

It’s funny to look back and think that I’ve spent so much time helping you and ladies like you to grow your channels for years, and I didn’t have a big channel myself. Not too long ago, I felt like an imposter whenever I thought about it. But I realized that all the time I could’ve spent growing my channel, I instead used it to grow many channels for my podcast guests who became my friends, and the people who’ve listened to my episodes and reached out for help. I realized that the information I’ve shared in my courses and in the Facebook group, and with anyone who’s asked, came from the experience of learning from several channels, instead of just my own.

“You can come up with all the reasons not to do something, and sometimes that negative voice takes over, but sometimes you have to get over yourself.”

I went from hating a job at Jamba Juice, working at Nordstrom, selling $55 million worth of real estate properties, trying to become an actor, starting an apparel business with my sister, getting burnt out and selling the apparel business with my sister, getting back in corporate America and having two girls, to finally finding something that fits. Doing this podcast and helping you with my programs feels like home. It feels like what I was meant to do and everything I’ve learned up to this point has made me totally awesome at this. Ready to hear the full journey? Well, listen up.

"I knew I was going to do something in business, I just didn't know what."

Looking for some clarity around how to build a successful channel while balancing a full-time job? Want to go from a channel that’s confusing and flat to one that's vibrant and engaging? It’s time for another bootcamper success story! With a few viral hits under her belt and some massive growth, our guest fashion YouTuber Rachel from The Rachel Review is here to share her journey before and after the boot camp, and what she’s doing to be on track for 100k subscribers this year!

“If you’re doing YouTube to be famous online and make a lot of money, that will get you through the door, but it won’t keep you there.”

Rachel is passionate about being an entrepreneur and running her own business, but her early journeys into it ended in failure. After she closed up shop on her online business, she started working for a wastewater management company so she could gain a mentor and hopefully learn enough to take another shot at entrepreneurship. During that time, her boyfriend pushed her to start her YouTube channel and share her passion for fashion. And she did, but it barely got off the ground with only 250 subscribers. She was growing slowly and getting discouraged until she found out about our Zero to Influence bootcamp. Now she’s at 38k subscribers and confidently on her way to close out the year at 100k.

“No one is going to like everything you have to say. People all have different experiences.”

Learning how to find her why and getting clear on what she’s good at were two of the most impactful things the boot camp helped her with. They opened her eyes to what she should really be doing on YouTube. If you’ve been thinking about getting started and telling yourself that success is unattainable and you can’t be the next YouTube star, she’s here to tell you that she was right where you are, and she did it. And if she can do it, you can too. Her message for you is, “You have to risk it to get the biscuit!”

“Every video you put out and comment you get, you’re getting an understanding of what your community wants and needs from you.” - Erika

Grab your seat by the fireplace and get ready to hear the wisdom of another YouTube veteran! Wanna learn about what it takes to remain relevant on YouTube for over a decade and how the handle and thrive under the toll it takes? Our guest today, beauty, plus-sized fashion and now lifestyle YouTuber Cora Diane takes the hot seat and authentically shares her journey with us!

“I never take on sponsorships that I feel compromise my morals or I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending to a friend.”

Cora started her channel in 2007, doing it for fun as everyone was at that time. She was inspired by the makeup videos and wanted to start making her own. It was until 2010 that she realized she was making more money from YouTube than she was at her job at the Mac store. Now she’s a YouTube celebrity who’s been reinventing herself and staying ahead of the game while making a full-time living from her channel.

“You’re gonna have moments when you question what you’re doing. There’s never a trajectory that’s always on the up.”

She’s super passionate about sustainability and preserving the environment. She’s really played her part in being the voice of using cosmetics that aren’t harmful to yourself or the environment. What really inspired me about Cora is that she’s very in tune to what’s truly a fit for her. She isn’t just doing her channel about the money and she isn’t satisfied with the current state of the beauty industry on YouTube. In this episode, she shares her experience remaining relevant and toeing the fine line between keeping in integrity with herself while also making a living on YouTube.

“People love to watch people who are unapologetically themselves and passionately aligned with their purpose” - Erika

Our guest today, LinkedIn superstar Judi Fox shares her secrets and tips with us to have you rocking it on LinkedIn in no time!

“You only need to know one or two more things than somebody else behind you. You don’t have to be running a 6 or 7 figure business to be able to teach other people.”

Judi developed her skills at LinkedIn by putting in the time and effort to grow her profile over the years. At first, she was using it to network and get clients and job opportunities. In her 20 years in corporate, she never felt satisfied. She was inspired by Marie Forleo and saw the impact she was making and she was drawn to sharing her story with video as well. Now she helps people get leads, clients and huge connections on LinkedIn and in her 9 months making videos, she has reached 2 million views!

“Even if you can only spend 10-20 minutes a day, go all in and comment on 10 people’s content.”

LinkedIn has been the unsexy social media platform for so long, but it's making a comeback. We talk all about how to make the most of it on today’s episode. There are so many things I didn’t know about before our chat (like the difference between a follow and a connection) that I’m sure are going to help you to grow. We also went specifically into how to use LinkedIn to grow a YouTube channel and we uncovered a lot of hacks along the way. You’re going to take a lot away from this one!

“Think of your LinkedIn profile as your sales brochure and make it super easy for people to work with you. Sales happen when you’re clear.”

Are you hesitating to get started on YouTube because you think only extremely beautiful people are successful on the platform? In my solo episode, I’m breaking apart that myth and limiting belief for you today and giving you the clarity and tactics to make a complete shift and start making videos with pride!

“You need to have some self-awareness and really understand who you are.”

There are 1.9 billion YouTube users, some are uploading 400 hours of videos every hour of the day and some are watching 1 billion hours of videos every single day. There’s a 100% chance that a great number of those creators don’t fit universal standards of beauty. We’ll get to universal beauty in a second, but you have to ask yourself, why aren’t you one of those people putting out video? Is it really beauty or it that just an excusing covering up something else?

“Lean into your strengths, they’re the cornerstone of your channel.”

We dive into all of this today and I hope you get to the root of the issue, if it is an excuse and work through it. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, it doesn’t matter what anyone says, or said in the past. Beauty is subjective, what someone finds not beautiful, others will worship the ground you walk on. In all those variables, you need to control how you feel about yourself. because if you don’t think you’re beautiful and worthy of making your voice and face heard, it’s better to hang up your ambition and don’t even start making videos for YouTube. Tough love but true. I know you’re not giving up so let’s dive into how to shift the negatives in this episode!

“So many people are preoccupied with what they don’t have. They’re chasing something that’s incredibly difficult to achieve.”

Want a super simple way to grow your channel to hundreds of thousands of subscribers? We’ve got the goods for you today. It’s so simple you’re gonna wonder what the catch is, but our guest beauty and wellness YouTuber Dr. Mona Vand will be breaking down her explosive growth to 200k subscribers in 1 year and give you real actionable steps to follow! So listen up ladies!

“It’s exhausting to be somebody that you’re not.” - Erika Vieira

Dr. Mona Vand started in a place where a lot of us start out. She was very hesitant to jump into YouTube because she felt it was too saturated. But after building her brand on Instagram and Snapchat, and wanting to give even more value and go into even more details on what she was teaching - going into detail is what she loves more than anything - she decided to try it out. For her first set of videos, she did everything wrong and barely grew at all. But in December 2017 she scrapped everything and started over. She dropped the persona she was trying to be, an embraced her flaws and all, and that’s when she started to grow. One of her new videos hit 5k views and she was off to the races after that and hasn’t stopped growing since!

“Create really good quality content. Even if it takes a while, it will come.” - Dr. Mona Vand

What’s unique about her experience was that she started already comfortable with being on camera, after having done many lives and stories on IG and Snapchat. One hack she used was to not reinvent the wheel. She was already doing well with her lives, so why not record her YouTube videos as she does her lives? If you watch any of her videos, you can tell how well that works! She is a lot more calm and herself than her older videos, and she’s gaining resonance with her audience because of it. She is a big supporter of just being yourself and focus on creating your best quality content and you’ll grow. Tune in to the episode to hear all her other amazing lessons.

“If you have the means to hire an editor, it’s the best money spent.” - Dr. Mona Vand

Are you struggling with believing in yourself? Are you having trouble growing your channel as fast as you want? Those two may be very tightly connected to each other. But not to worry, Neuropsychologist and Coach Dr. Shannon Irvine is here to help you break those mental chains! We get really in-depth into ways you can unlock your potential and free your mind to create and attract the growth and success you’be been hoping for!

“You’ve gotta burn the bridges of non-belief or hope.”

Dr. Shannon Irvine has been helping entrepreneurs to tap into the power of their minds in her practice. I love how she takes “woo woo” topics and explains them with science and facts. Like the fact that we see and pay attention to 9 times more negative things than positive things, which explains a lot about why we go into a shame spiral over a single negative comment. Through her work, she helps to hardwire in your mind the exact things you want so that they’ll come to you easily and a lot more fun.

“The most successful people have figured out their own thinking and have taken their thoughts off auto-pilot.”

Her approach and belief towards how we work are really fascinating. Instead of identifying yourself as a YouTuber who’s striving to success, how much differently would you operate if you were coming from a place of generosity and abundance instead? Wouldn’t you be a lot more energized and excited to create if you knew that your success is on its way to you effortlessly? We’ll break down how to program that mindset today so you’re off to the races. Everyone has something to work on, even her, and there’s not one person on this earth without a limiting belief, so stop feeling alienated and alone and come join the limit busting party!

“90% of our daily actions and decisions come from our subconscious mind.”

The internet can sometimes be a scary place, and if you’re joining a niche with your content, you may face that scariness from all sides: your comments section and your YouTube peers. How do you weather that storm, build your channel and gain the success you’re driving for? Our guest this week - beauty, fashion and lifestyle YouTuber Leesha aka xSparkage - shares her journey through the complicated and controversial world of beauty and how she’s made it through so you can too!

“The beauty community is supposed to lift people up and show them that they can be artistic.”

Leesha is a veteran YouTuber. She was putting out videos before YouTube partnership was a thing and if you look at her channel she’s been putting out great content for over 10 years! She came up with a lot of the top beauty YouTubers today in a time when the community was more collaborative and supportive. In 2014 she took a break when her daughter Violet was born, and since returning shes expanded her focus to cover fashion and giving lifestyle advice to her audience.

“If a brand sends you something, it doesn’t mean you owe them anything.”

The beauty niche has definitely changed over the years. In a lot of ways, the beauty community has gotten more negatively competitive, and it's harder to pick the people who are genuinely here to help the community from those who are only growing a following for selfish reasons. Unfortunately, the controversy in the community brings views and attention but is that the kind of attention we need? We dive into a lot of that today as well as how you can grow your channel despite the negatives while doing right by your audience on the process.

“People make the mistake of thinking ‘I’m just talking to my friends’ but no, it’s for everybody to see... and people keep the receipts.”

The Fyre festival was one of the biggest scams in human history - thousands of people showed up for a party but got chaos instead. But it’s also a perfect example of the power of well-executed influencer marketing! On this solo round, I talk Fyre festival details and what you can learn to do and to avoid as an influencer!

“There's a level of responsibility that everyone has to have because when influencers are involved, people take action.”

Imagine it: a magical escape, beautiful scenery, models and the promise of affluence and exclusivity… Who wouldn’t sign up for that dream? Especially when all the influencers you know, love and trust are all talking about it? The “Bigger than Coachella” Fyre Festival fell flat and it really cast a spotlight on influencer marketing. The huge question of the day is, are brands going to be more careful with their budgets - keeping most of it out of the hands of influencers from now on, or will they see it as a successful proof of what could be and dive in head first?

“The time frame was way too short, their budget was way too low.”

If you haven’t seen the Netflix or Hulu documentaries yet, try to watch them with a skeptical eye. Neither of them has unbiased accounts of the event. The Netflix doc was made by the same people who promoted the festival - and there’s a lot of controversy surrounding their hand in the scam. The makers of Hulu doc, though they interviewed the kingpin himself Billy Mcfarland, paid him for his side of the story. So, there’s dirt on both sides, but both are still worth the watch. What do you think: do Ja Rule, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and the other models and influencers share in some of the blame, or were they all duped just like everyone else?

“Influencer marketing works. Influencers are the new celebrities.”

This episode is all about hyper-growth! We’re pulling back the curtain on how to grow from having no channel to 300,000 subscribers in 2 years! If you’re ready to learn how to simplify your workflow and get the nitty-gritty details on how she grew her channel, then Fashion Youtuber Naomi Boyer is here to deliver in today’s episode!

“What makes people really successful is the stuff that's different.”

Naomi had always wanted to do something in fashion, but after leaving college she started working in pharmaceutical sales and she hated it. After some time in, she decided that she couldn’t stand it anymore and started researching becoming a full-time YouTuber. She looked up everything from growth strategies to what YouTubers were doing to monetize their channels. When she was ready, and with the support of her husband, she quit cold turkey and started her channel. A ton of consistency, listening to her audience and 2 years later, she broke 300k subscribers!

“The people that resonate with your opinion are going to stick with you, and those that don’t... that’s okay.”

Naomi and I spoke about the new atmosphere on YouTube and the challenges of sharing your opinion in a space where negativity and hate run rampant in the comment section. We also spoke about what videos were huge inflection points for her channel, and how she's able to keep making content and selecting topics that people want to see.

“YouTube life can look glamorous, but just wanting to be in it is not enough to get successful.”

Ready to have your mind blown and create anything you want? If you’ve heard about manifestation and ever wondered what all the fuss was about, I’m talking about my success story with the Manifestation Babe herself! Kathrin Zenkina gives you the steps to manifestation success in today’s episode!

“Perfect is the lowest standard that you can set for yourself.”

Kathrin was heading down a path that led to the life she totally didn’t want - becoming the doctor her parents wanted - when she came face to face with her destiny. Her hunger for learning and self-development brought her to a Tony Robbins even Unleash The Power Within and that experience changed everything. It got her to break free from her obligations to others, and get in touch with what she wanted for herself.

“If you’re so busy focusing on the lack of where you are, you’re going to create more of that stuck energy.”

With that mindset shift, she gave up plans to go to med school, moved to Los Angeles and started Manifestation Babe on her grandmother’s couch. Fast forward to today and she’s happily married, doing what she loves and making millions of dollars doing it. To top it all off, she’s helping women manifest their best lives as well!

“It doesn’t matter if you’re focusing on how much life sucks, or how amazing life is, you get exactly what you put out into the universe.”

Kathrin comes from a humble immigrant family where they grew up in scarcity. She created Manifestation Babe for women who are obsessed with taking their life to the next level, unleashing their inner magic, breaking through their limitations, and "manifesting a reality, wilder than their wildest dreams."

“The moment you set an intention or create a vision, it is already done on an energetic level.”

You’re definitely not too young or too old to make your voice be heard and build an impactful brand on YouTube! Don’t take my word for it - flexibility and fitness YouTuber Alivia shares her heart-centered approach to blowing up on YouTube! The icing on the cake is: she’s only 18 years old! You’ll want to listen to this one right now!

"You can’t go wrong when following your heart. Start with that."

This powerful young woman is only 18 but she’s a total giant, and it’s not even because she’s grown to over 1 million subscribers in 2 years. It’s because she’s using her platform to impact people and spread the message of self-love, self-acceptance and being of service to others. She started YouTube out of a desire to want to help and connect with people and stuck with it when all of her other friends gave up on their channels. When she found that more people were resonating with her flexibility and fitness videos than her beauty videos, she dove into flexibility with both feet. That commitment to her purpose drove her and her channel to new heights.

“People like to see vulnerability because we like to see our sorrows echoed into the lives of others.”

Alivia is in her freshman year at the University of California Riverside and the future before her is already very bright. I can’t wait to see what more she will create in the world. In this episode, you’re going to learn about the power of vulnerability and how she uses it as a magnet to bring people to her. You’ll also get some great tips and examples on how you can build your own heart-centered brand.

“Find the intersection of doing what you love while at the same time being in the service of others.”

Success is something we all want to achieve but it’s not always easy to come by. You’ve probably heard many YouTube content creators talk about their stories, how they first started their channels, how they struggled, and how they eventually gained thousands of subscribers to finally achieve YouTube success. However, when you look at the sheer number of YouTube channels out there, you can definitely say not everyone becomes successful.  So, what is the secret to YouTube success?

"YouTube was my guilty pleasure."

Luckily, the gorgeous and adorable Raven Elyse from Austin, Texas is sharing her own secret to YouTube success!

"Always, real-life experience is better than reading anything in a book."

Known for her transparency and her slightly sarcastic sense of humor, Raven often describes her life as #shambles. She first started posting DIY, hair, and makeup YouTube videos just for fun back when she was only a freshman in high school. By the time she graduated from college in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, she was already a full-time media influencer. Her channel has grown consistently over time and she recently reached over 1 million subscribers and 95 million video views!

"I naturally came up and grew as YouTube grew."

How she did do it? What is the secret? Well, the secret is this: Being truly passionate about YouTube itself and not doing it for the money, fame, or views. Act as if YouTube will not pay you anything or get you any type of fame or recognition. You have to be THAT passionate about it, otherwise, you will give up and/or burn out.

As for Raven, whether it’s through her YouTube channel, blog, Instagram, or Snapchat, her ultimate goal is to entertain, educate, and inspire others. That’s her passion. That’s her secret to YouTube success!
